I spend a lot of time sketching on Post-It Notes.  3M should sponsor me....

There's not a lot of room on a little square Post-It, obviously, so it forces me to concentrate on only what's necessary for a drawing.  Most of the time, I sketch on Post-Its just to 'think on paper', and using a tiny thumbnail like this can be essential to planning out a larger piece.

IsoBan's Journal Returns....

Its been a while, but IsoBan's Journal is back on the road, fan belts and brake pads switched up, fluids changed, floorboards vacuumed, and pine-scented air freshener firmly affixed to the rear view mirror.

 If you don't know me, I have kept a blog entitled "IsoBan's Journal" for something like seven years, mostly used as a place to post my sketches....frequently in the form of vastly overworked Post-It Notes...and snapshots of my various creative projects.  

 For the last year, my posts on the original blog (over at Wordpress) have been infrequent.  The irony of this is that my actual art production has ramped up to an all-time high.  

 Well, IsoBan's Journal is back at Blogger, firmly cocooned in my all-powerful Google account.  Expect a lot more posts, a lot more art, a lot more video projects, and occasional nonsense.
